Parapots in collaboration with Harry Tait
A collaboration between Angela and Harry Tait 2016
Angela’s son Harry Tait has been making survival bracelets from paracord for a number of years. What started as a teenage hobby has become a small but lucrative business venture with Harry selling his creations throughout the UK and worldwide.
Ceramics, hand thrown on the wheel are drilled to accommodate the paracord additions. A true collaboration, this work blurs the parent/child boundaries, often reversing or balancing traditional hierarchies. Ideas are formed on both sides building work which becomes more than the sum of its parts.
